With roots stretching back to the days of Brickfête (veteran Canadian AFOLs remember), MariLUG representation at Canadian conventions is nothing new – and we've even had individual members make the trek to farther-flung events like Northern Bricks, Brickworld Chicago, and Skaerbaek!

Personal successes notwithstanding, all of us who made it to Bricks in the Six felt very lucky indeed to attend this amazing event and touch base with all the other builders visiting from coast to coast.
(Having the opportunity to visit a LEGO® Brand Retail store is pretty great too.)

A small contingent of MariLUG members made the trek to Laval for our first group representation at Brickomanie!
It was an awesome time, but the real highlight was Shawn's well-deserved induction into QuéLUG's hall of fame.

What a great time! Even if we were confined to the 'train dungeon' or being gently ousted from the hotel lobby for being too rowdy, we loved every minute of this convention.

A strong early showing by MariLUG at Bricks in the Six!
Nico sent along a London Underground train, so there was even representation from a member who couldn't make it in person! We displayed the Halifax Citadel and Patrick bricked himself.
The only problem was figuring out what to do with all the boxes between Sunday pack-up and Monday morning roll-out!
