Not everything fits neatly into one of our usual event categories.
Here you'll find the odd ones out – they're not misfits, they just do things their own way (as AFOLs, we're intimately familiar with the sentiment).
Some of these events are similar to Brixclusives but appear here instead because MariLUG doesn't contribute to planning and organization. Others are here because they're just that unique!

As Holdfast Bricks, he arranged to bring a little more interactivity to the Acadia Robotics First LEGO® League & Robofest championship for 2025 with a large mosaic build. MariLUG members turned up to help coordinate, as well as to contribute some other display items besides.
All in all, it was a lot of fun and added even more excitement on top of the contests happening just around the corner!
On the Venn diagram of kids who love robotics and kids who love trains, there's a not insignificant overlap. So Sam brought a few!
There were a few other builds to see as well in our little area, where we did our part to make the First LEGO® League atmosphere just that much more fun.
