Moncton Model Railroad Show 2024

Off the rails?

Not on your life! Our display at the Moncton Model Railroad Show in April 2024 was on the straight and narrow.

Paul's classic Pollocksland was there to charm event attendees with its vintage buildings and trains from the 12V era, and this year it was joined by a modern layout assembled by Patrick, Nico, and Matt. With limited table space to work with, we went for density instead and packed the layout with lots of fun details!

From old school to new, there was plenty of railroading fun for everyone to enjoy.

No layout including Patrick's builds would be complete without NBSR 6401, parked here at Nico's beautiful train station MOC!

Behold! The nerve centre of Pollocksland. The 1980s-era 12V train system is a marvel of engineering, with lots of ways to control rail operations.

Matt's police station (and a neighbouring park) made a great centrepiece for the modular streetscape. Complete with traffic stop! Totally routine, of course.
